  1. What is Curiouscity Science Discovery Centre?

    The Curiouscity Science Discovery Centre is a green 2 acre campus located off Sarjapur Road, Bangalore where children and adults can explore the wonders of science and nature through a ton of fun activities. The centre is open to the general public on weekends (and select public holidays) from 10 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM.

    The centre has been established by Curiouscity Science Education Pvt Ltd, which was started as a social enterprise in 2009 by Dr. Shonali Chinniah and team with the aim of bringing science to life for children. We believe in an enquiry-based experiential approach where kids actively explore science and are encouraged to learn by doing, observing and asking questions

  2. How can we buy tickets to visit Curiouscity Science Discovery Centre?

    • Online Ticketing is available on BOOK MY SHOW. We strongly recommend advance purchase of online tickets at BOOK MY SHOW. (https://in.bookmyshow.com/activities/curiouscity-science-discovery-centre/ET00334707)
    • A limited number of tickets is available at the venue for walk-in visitors but first preference for entry is given to those with prior online bookings. We cannot guarantee entry for walk-in visitors as we have limited capacity.
    • The price of a ticket is ₹450/- for a 3 hour session (from 10 AM to 1 PM or from 2 PM to 5 PM).
    • All adults and children above 3 years age are required to buy a ticket. No group discounts are available.
    • Children below 3 years may enter without a ticket but do note that the space is not ideal for such young children.
    • Tickets once booked cannot be cancelled or refunded but the same ticket can be availed for a subsequent visit after prior information to our staff at +91-83174 12923
    • Visitors who want to spend more than 3 hours at the centre may buy separate tickets for both slots i.e. (from 10 AM to 1 PM or from 2 PM to 5 PM)

  3. What are the timings for Curiouscity Science Discovery Centre?

    Curiouscity Science center is open only on weekends (and select public holidays) from 10 AM-1 PM and 2 PM- 5PM. The centre is closed for lunch from 1 PM – 2 PM.

  4. How long will it take to see Curiouscity Science Centre?

    A typical visit will take 2½ to 3hrs. You are advised to arrive early (ideally by 10 AM or 2 PM) to have enough time to experience the centre. Visitors will have to leave the premises at 1 PM or 5 PM respectively to make way for new visitors and closing procedures / lunch.

  5. What is the recommended age group of children?

    While we allow children of all ages to enter, the space is designed for children who are at least 3 years old and ideal for children who are at least 6 years old.

  6. What activities are there for children?

    We have 4 major sections, all of which are included with your ticket at no additional cost:

    • Khiladi Circle for ages 3-7 (Bubble Park, Animal Zone, Tyre Park, Fun Zone & more)
    • Sangam circle for ages 7 + (Science Labs on Electromagnetism, Light, Water etc.)
    • Illusions Area for all age groups.
    • Escape Rooms & Special shows (Waterworks, Bridge Building, Dance and more) for a range of age groups

  7. Can I accompany my child into the space?

    Yes. Parents can accompany their children inside and there plenty of activities / exhibits to that adults will also enjoy.

  8. Is there any food available?

    We have a pantry which provides light snacks, simple lunch items, juice and tea/coffee. Our main Cafe is under construction. Outside food is not allowed.

  9. Is there parking available?

    Yes, open parking is available in the campus without any additional charge. While adequate parking space is available at most times, we cannot guarantee a parking slot in case there is an exceptionally large number of visitors.

  10. What activities do you have for school groups / school excursions?

  11. Can birthday parties be organized at Curiouscity Science Discovery Centre?

    We can organize limited number of birthday parties at the Curiouscity Science Discovery Centre depending on venue and staff availability. We typically host a maximum number of 20 people including adults and kids (e.g. 15 children and 5 adults). The party includes a Guided Tour, Treasure Hunt, assured entry to Escape Rooms, a small Picnic by the Pond and Surprise Gifts for all kids.
